A Look Into The Future - January 3, 2025
Dear Reader,
This is the year I must finally take the plunge into saving enough money to run ads for the stories. I almost have enough series openers to do it. I just need to set up a few more of the miniseries and publish at least 4 or 5 more books in each. If I keep up the current publishing pace and can save enough, ads might start this summer.
Will I stop writing and publishing if it's not an instant success? No. Have no fears the stories will keep coming. And you know me. Nothing is set in stone. I can't work that way. The muse is fickle and the day job is real. But if I set no goals, I achieve no goals. So save money for ads is serious.
New Year, New Goals
First, allow me to admit the truth. I haven't met the goal I set two years ago. But I'm still working towards it. It was a serious over reach, and I failed to understand just how unrealistic it was.
That's okay. It simply means I kicked the deadline for achieving it down the road. It shifted into the long-term. I intend to finish writing the Draoithe Saga main story line and embark on creating an unknown world, eventually.
Shorter term goals involve continuing the republishing of the stories from the Great Takedown, first as serial chapters and then in ebook, audiobook, paperback, and finally as book bundles. With 16 miniseries in some stage of completion in the Draoithe Saga at this time, only 9 have stories currently available to the public, and only 2 are complete miniseries.
Short-Term Publishing Goals, 2025:
- Publish the last 4 titles in the Valkyrie Riders Miniseries.
- Publish the last 4 titles in the Lyons Gate Miniseries.
- Publish all 10 Demon Allies tales.
- Publish all 15 Eagle Lords tales.
- Publish all 5 Druid Dominion tales.
I know it's an ambitious list, but many of the titles in these miniseries are novellas and short stories. Most of the tales are complete manuscripts already. This means cover art, character art, editing, and formatting are all I need to do for these tales to land on the shelf for readers.
If I could manage this, I'd have the opening tales to advertise for half of the miniseries in the dream. These 8 miniseries would all have three or more tales available for read-through. It might be enough to make a positive return on investment with the ad spend. It's a gamble no matter what, but I believe it's the best chance the Draoithe Saga has for commercial success. Wish me luck!
Writing Goals 2025
Laugh with me. We all know the muse is a fickle witch. So rather than goals, I will post what I'd like to see happen in 2025. We shall look back in December and see how much the muse agreed. That's more realistic.
- Finish writing the Kings Wilde miniseries - Currently, 2 of the 7 titles are complete manuscripts with the other five in various stages of the story line.
- Finish writing the Gods of the Dream miniseries. Currently, two of the stories have published, with the remaining two being incomplete manuscripts.
- Finish the rewrite for the Weaver's Tale Trilogy in the Apocalypse Averted Miniseries.
- Finish the rewrite of the extra short stories in the Eagle Lord's Miniseries.
- Write Axel Wyndham's story as the opener tale for the Rogue King's Miniseries.
- Continue writing the stories in the Druid Justice Miniseries.
I know many of these miniseries are completely unknown to most of my readers, but it shows how I'm always still writing behind the scenes. It also illuminates how large the tales from the dream and the Draoithe Saga have grown.

Sneak Peek at Dark Gift
I know you'd like to see the dook description for the next story in the Valkyrie Riders Miniseries. It took hours. I suck at writing story descriptions. So let me add the legalese so you can let me know if you think it works.
