Hannah O'Keefe - November 23, 2024
Dear Reader,
I waited a long time to introduce this lady, but if I do it, I should also introduce her leading man. So here goes nothing.
The Long Version:
Hannah O’Keefe was a dancer, poised on the verge of joining a dance troupe and touring the world. Her fortunes plummeted when three evil dragons abducted her, transformed her into a broken vampire, and then left her to wither in a warehouse after she failed to perform the magic they wanted. When her handsome rescuer turns out to be a dragon who refuses to let her fade, she finally realizes there is a bright light at the end of the tunnel and she might walk in the sun once more. But to do so means she must commit to becoming Nightshade, a vampire Valkyrie.
The Short Version:
Hannah O’Keefe was born touching the well of fire, but her gift was no match for three evil dragons determined to destroy her life. It will take a lot of effort for one magnificent dragon knight to convince her to want to live the cursed life they left her.
Okay, and now for the aforementioned dragon.
The Long Version:
Flame loved the nightlife, a good fight, good food, and beautiful women. His brothers, except Blaze, mistakenly thought he turned women into vampires to keep for himself, which almost made him give up being a dragon. His brother Blaze finally convinced him to try one last time to find his Valkyrie. He swore fealty to the Dire Wolf King.
The Short Version:
Nothing could have prepared Flame for Nightshade. She was a treasure, but damaged, dejected, and fading. Someone stripped her of her entire life, murdered her only family, and turned her into a monster. He would fight for her, die for her, and finally live, only for her.

Behind the Scenes
While edits are zipping along on Dark Curse, and over half the chapters have posted to the Valkyrie Riders Miniseries, I'm still involved in the read through on Dark Oath. I'm looking at publishing Dark Curse over Thanksgiving Week. Dark Oath looks like the Christmas book, and Dark Gift, the New Year or Martin Luther King Day publication.
Some of you are wondering what happened to the other miniseries. I know. The muse is insane. Sorry about that. Kingdom Rising is posting pins on Pinterest and Royal Council will follow soon.
Demon Allies will remain on the back burner with Eagle Lords. Gods of the Dream is on a pause until the muse gets unstuck.
Lyons Gate just published Elysian Fields. The next tale in Mystic Dark hasn't entered read through, but Lunar Dark is a complete manuscript and will post chapters after I get the read through complete for Dark Oath. Apocalypse Denied is also on hiatus, but Four Horses is also a complete manuscript. I would love to get that tale into Atticus, but it may not happen until after the New Year. Plus, there are several incomplete tales which still need work. Kings Wilde is where the muse wants to craft new content at the moment. As always, I follow the fickle muse and end up wherever she goes.
The Draoithe Storycast will resume posting for season 2. Druid Fox's first chapter will arrive on December 1st.

I have to head out and get the laundry finished, and the dishes I ignored last night await me. I hope y'all have a restful weekend. Until next weekend, please be kind when you read and leave your honest reviews. As always know this, you are welcome to the dream...
Be Careful!
Happy Reading,
