Meet the Characters:



Vicioso Malisimo Lann



Vicioso Malisimo Lann, (Vicious Nightmare Blade) is a street tough from a broken home. His parents were drug addicts who wanted the party more than they wanted their son. The Foster Families program in Chicago proved abuse was worse than neglect.


When he wound up on the streets at sixteen selling illegal drugs, things looked bleak. Dancing with Death occasionally and seeing visions of her enticing him into the stillness made him edgy and suicidal.


A chance encounter with Leland Shade altered the course of his life. Thoughts concerning his untimely demise continued as he chased Bella Sombra Suena with the desire to claim Death herself.

Bella Sombra Suena stalked the path of a depressed dream inverter. She showed him the way to a better life, offering him the hope he might find love and acceptance by guiding his footsteps along the road between life and death.


Beautiful Death was real. Some worshiped her as a cult deity or a folk saint. Santa Muerte offered healing, protection, and safe passage to the afterlife. She was the Angel of Death, and she was in love with a mortal man she could never have.

For one man, she dreamed of being free. He held power and passion, but he had needs. For the Angel of Death to claim her love, Vicioso Malisimo Lann needed to learn how to set her free, but he was only human. Even if his gift caused the immortals of the dream fear, he needed time he didn’t possess to learn.


Will he catch his Beautiful Shadow Dream and claim Death? Or will her touch prove fatal to the Vicious Nightmare Blade and lead to the destruction of the path the dead trod through the veil?

I set everything up and almost pulled the trigger. Then I thought I'd give Kindle Vella one last try. I write long serial fiction as an ever-expanding saga set in the dream. Reader Influence ( Listen with AI Audio ) Before you get to thinking that this is about research into niches or writing to meet audience demands, allow me to inform you it's not about that stuff at all. I understand some people can find the pulse of what appeals to the masses, write and publish while the masses are still consuming, and make a lot of money, but I can't do that.
